Tyler Myers to Join Team Canada, Canucks' Final Homestand Game

Vancouver Canucks defenceman Tyler Myers will join Team Canada for the upcoming World Championships, while the team prepares for their final homestand game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Myers, who has been a key contributor on the Canucks' blue line this season, will join a star-studded Canadian roster that includes Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, and Nathan MacKinnon. The tournament will take place in Finland from May 12 to 28.

Meanwhile, the Canucks will wrap up their homestand on Tuesday night against the Oilers. Vancouver is currently sitting in fifth place in the Pacific Division but could move up to fourth with a win and help secure themselves a playoff spot.

The game against Edmonton will be the Canucks' last home game before they embark on a three-game road trip through California. Vancouver will then return home for their final two games of the regular season against the Seattle Kraken and Arizona Coyotes.
