Blue Jays Activate CF Kevin Kiermaier from IL
The Toronto Blue Jays have activated center fielder Kevin Kiermaier from the 10-day injured list. Kiermaier has been sidelined since July 1 with a left hip impingement.
Kiermaier Activated from Injured List
Kiermaier is a two-time Gold Glove winner and was an All-Star in 2015. He batted .228 with five home runs and 21 RBIs in 75 games with the Blue Jays before landing on the IL.
Kiermaier Agrees to One-Year Deal
The Blue Jays and Kiermaier agreed to a one-year, $10.5 million contract extension on Wednesday. The deal includes a player option for the 2024 season.

"I'm so excited to be back with the Blue Jays," Kiermaier said. "I love the city of Toronto and the fans have been amazing. I can't wait to get back on the field and help this team win."
