Wheelchair and Scooter Policies for Cruise Ships
Complimentary Wheelchairs
Most cruise lines provide complimentary wheelchairs for getting on and off the ship. These wheelchairs are typically available at the gangway or at the ship's medical center.
Bringing Your Own Wheelchair or Scooter
If you would like to bring your own wheelchair or scooter on the cruise, you are welcome to do so. However, you will need to make sure that your wheelchair or scooter meets the cruise line's size and weight restrictions. You should also check with the cruise line to see if there is a fee for bringing your own wheelchair or scooter on board.
